Made in 2018. Gibson Custom Shop is pleased to announce the arrival of this popular 59 Les Paul with an impressive aged finish!

Hand-selected figured maple top from the local Nashville Custom Shop factory, wild lemon coloring with overall browning, and heavy aging on the back of the neck, top edge of the body, body back, and more. The combination of the two is a great finish that is as good as the current Murphy Labs' aging process! The neck profile is slightly thicker but slim and easy to grip. The hardware has also been reproduced with a "Custom Bucker" pickup. The pickups are equipped with "Custom Bucker" pickups. They are finished with vintage feel low gain, and the response is superb with a light, smooth, and comfortable edge that faithfully expresses the picking nuance!
The body has aged beautifully, and it is hard to tell the scratches from use.
The neck is in good condition, and the truss rod can be adjusted in the direction to tighten or loosen, and can still be turned to tighten and adjust. There are no noticeable string marks on the frets, and about 80% of the strings are left. Currently, the string height is adjusted at about 2.0mm on the 12F 6th string side and about 1.5mm on the 1st string side.

現地ナッシュビルカスタムショップ工場にてハンドセレクトされたフィギュアド・メイプルTOP、全体的に褐色化したレモン系でワイルドなカラーリング、ネック裏・ボディトップエッジ・ボディバック等にこれでもかと云わんばかりにエイジド加工を施したヘヴィーエイジドの組み合わせが素晴らしい内容で、現行マーフィーラボのエイジングにも負けてない仕上がりとなっております！やや厚みはありますが細身で握り込みやすいネックプロファイル。ハードウェアにも使用に支障が出ない範囲のくすみや錆が再現されており、ピックアップは『カスタムバッカー』を搭載。ヴィンテージフィールなローゲインに仕上げられており、軽快でスムース、心地よいエッジでピッキングニュアンスを忠実に表現してくれるレスポンスが秀逸です！
ボディには圧巻のエイジングがあり、使用にて付いたキズと見分けづらい状況です。
ネックコンディションは現状問題なく、トラスロッドは締める方向緩める方向に調整可能で、締める方向にまだ回せ調整可能です。フレットには目立つ弦跡等は無く残りは8割程です。現状弦高は12F6弦側で約2.0mm、1弦側で約1.5mmで調整されております。
