We are pleased to announce the arrival of a 2023 Gibson Custom Murphy Lab Collection, 1959 Les Paul Standard.
It's a clean, beautiful condition piece as it was made in recent years. (PRE-PACK CHECKLIST Date: 8-2-2023)

The finish specification is Light Aged, which is the ultimate vintage Les Paul reproduction in the "Murphy Lab" category.
The details and basic materials are similar to the current "1959 Les Paul Standard Reissue," but the finish color is Faded Lemon Burst, which is not available in the Light Aged version, so it is a PSL (Pre-Sold Limited) model. This may be a limited model produced irregularly under the PSL (Pre-Sold Limited) program.
The neck profile (contour of the grip area) is similar to a soft V-type grip in the low-grip direction.
The control assembly has been confirmed to be soldered virgin, so it is in full original condition including the pickups.

The weight of the body is approximately 4.02kg. The current toggle switch plate is a metal plate (Custom Shop Switch Plate Medallion), but if you replace it with the included black Historic Reissue Les Paul Switchplate If you replace the switch plate with the included black Historic Reissue Les Paul Switchplate, you may get closer to the 3kg range.

In my opinion... Murphy Labs finishes are available in four different aging options (Ultra Light Aged, Light Aged, Heavy Aged, and Ultra Heavy Aged). You may have a hard time choosing which one to purchase, depending on your preference of aging, the color, the feel of the figured tone, and the feel of the play and output. However, the excellent response of the sound and the feel of the neck grip make this a very playable instrument.

Neck condition: No problem as it is now.

フィニッシュの仕様は究極のビンテージ・レスポールを再現する『Murphy Lab』カテゴリーのライト･エイジドです。
ディテールやマテリアルの基礎は現行の『1959 Les Paul Standard Reissue』に準じるスペックでございますが、ライト･エイジド仕様に設定のないフィニッシュ･カラーのフェイド･レモン･バーストなので、PSL(Pre-Sold Limited)プログラムによる不定期生産の限定モデルかもしれません。
また、ネックのプロフィール(グリップ部位の輪郭)はローグリップ方向がソフトVタイプのグリップ形状に近い個体でございます。
コントロール･アッセンブリはハンダバージンなのを確認済みなので、ピックアップを含めフルオリジナル･コンディションを維持しています。

本体のウエイトは約4.02kgです。現在のトグル･スイッチ･プレートは金属プレート(Custom Shop Switch Plate Medallion)ですが、付属するブラックのヒストリック･リイシュー専用スイッチプレート(Historic Reissue Les Paul Switchplate)に交換すると3kg台へますます近づくかもしれません。

私見ではございますが... マーフィーラボ･フィニッシュには大別すると4つのエージングオプション(ウルトラ･ライト･エイジド、ライト･エイジド、ヘビー･エイジド、ウルトラ･ヘビー･エイジド)がございます。お好みのエイジド具合から色合いやフィガードの具合、プレイや出音のフィーリングなど、ご購入の選定に一苦労なさるかもしれません。しかし、こちらは優れたレスポンスの出音やネックグリップを握る感覚からプレイアビリティに溢れる個体と感じずにはいられません。
