2023 Made in Japan, Mahogany Side & Back FG9 in stock!

This is a side & back mahogany model of "FG9", one of the flagship models of FG series, handmade in Hamamatsu factory.

The body size is dreadnought size "FG". Adirondack spruce, the most distinctive feature of this series, is used for the body top. Combined with the specially developed scalloped X bracing, it delivers a powerful yet delicate sound. The side backs are made of African mahogany for a clear and warm sound.

The neck is made of mahogany and bolted on with two bolts. The neck is made of mahogany and bolted with two bolts to increase body vibration and ease maintenance. Scale is 650mm and nut width is 44mm. The fingerboard & bridge are ebony. The body is finished with nitrocellulose lacquer and the neck is finished with polyurethane. The position marks are similar to Japanese Kumiki work, and the rope inlays around the soundhole and purfling design are based on Japanese culture.

There are no noticeable damages on the body, only minor scratches and scuffs. There is a strap pin on the side of the neck.

The truss rod can be adjusted in the direction to tighten or loosen, and can still be turned in the direction to tighten and adjust. There are no noticeable string marks on the frets, and about 90% of the frets are left. The current string height is adjusted at about 2.5mm on the 12F 6th string side and about 2.0mm on the 1st string side. The saddle height is high enough that there is still room for adjustment here.

Overall, there are few signs of use, and we can recommend this to those who are considering a new one. The warm mid-bass and light sound of mahogany makes this a must-try for those who are considering a D-18 or similar instrument.

Neck condition is fine.

こちらは浜松の工場でハンドメイドされるFGシリーズのフラッグシップモデルの一つ『FG9』のサイド&バックマホガニーモデル。

ボディサイズはドレッドノートサイズ『FG』。ボディトップにはこのシリーズの最大の特徴であるアディロンダックスプルースを採用。専用開発のスキャロップドXブレイシングも相まってパワフルながらも繊細なサウンドを実現。サイドバックにはアフリカンマホガニーを採用しておりクリア且つウォームなサウンドに。

ネックはマホガニーで2本のボルトでボルトオン。ボディの振動を高めると共にメンテナンス性を向上を獲得。スケールは650mm、ナット幅は44mmとなっております。指板&ブリッジはエボニーです。ボディはニトロセルロースラッカーで仕上げられ、ネックはポリウレタンで仕上げられております。ポジションマークは日本の組木細工と同様で、サウンドホール周辺ロープ状のインレイとパーフリングのデザインは日本の文化に基づいています。

ボディには軽微な拭きキズ・スリキズ程度で目立つダメージはありません。ネックサイドにストラップピン打たれております。

ネックコンディションは問題なく、トラスロッドは締める方向緩める方向に調整可能で、締める方向にまだ回せ調整可能です。フレットには目立つ弦痕等はなく、残り9割程です。現状弦高は12F6弦側で約2.5mm、1弦側で約2.0mmで調整されております。サドルの高さも十分にありココでの調整幅もまだあります。

全体的には使用感少なく、新品をお考えの方にもオススメできる内容です。マホガニーによる暖か味のある中低音と軽やかなサウンドで、D-18等ご検討頂いている方にも是非ともお試し頂きたい一本です。

The items name with "USED" are used items, and comes as shown in the pictures so there may be marks of use. All items were tested by our store staff and we test each item one more time before shipping them out to make sure they are fully functional.

All items for sale on ISHIBASHI MUSIC are stock currently available from all of ISHIBASHI stores around Japan. So it might take a few days for shipping.
