Since their debut, the Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra has performed not only in Japan but also in 31 countries around the world, and has participated in many of the world's largest music festivals, including Coachella.
This signature model is based on Takashi Kato's 1965 Stratocaster, known as "Driftwood," which he has been using as his main guitar for many years.
The "Paradise Blue" color covering the body is an original color that reproduces the unique color of Lake Placid Blue that has deepened over time, while at the same time enhancing the metallic tone.
The topcoat of nitrocellulose lacquer has been kept to a minimum so that the vintage sound and look can be enjoyed even sooner.
The neck, profiled from the original instrument, has a 7.25" radius round rose fingerboard with a thin 1965 "C" shape and a nut width of about 41mm. The Narrow Tall frets provide smooth playability while faithfully reproducing the vintage grip.
The patent-pattern transition logo used from late 1964 to mid-1965, the first time it was made in Japan, has been reissued for this model.
The neck pocket has been designed deeper to reproduce the vintage tension that has been created by the use of refretting and other modifications.
Custom Wired Vintage Style Single Coil pickups were developed for this model.
The special wiring has succeeded in producing rich overtones and edges like a hand-wound pickup, even though it is machine-wound.
The neck and middle pickups are mid-60's and the bridge pickup is 50's to early 60's specs, which allows for both light rhythm guitar and thick lead tone.

There is one ding on the tip of the head and some minor dings on the back of the body. The hardware is in almost new condition with few scratches and there are no operational problems. The string height is about 2.0mm on the 6th string (12F) and 1.5mm on the 1st string (12F). The neck is in good condition, and the truss rod can be tightened or loosened in both directions.
The back panel is missing.

Neck condition is currently fine.
