2019 Murphy Aged Model with 60th Anniversary Specs!

This 60th Anniversary model is connected to the current model with features such as an unpotted custom backer and a pot with a vintage-like curve. Furthermore, the top is made of wood selected by a Japanese dealer, and the 59LP has been aged by Tom Murphy, a process that has never been done before.

The dark fleck on the lower left side is also a very sexy feature of the piece. The coloring is "Royal Tea Burst," a new color for 2018. This coloring can be said to be evolving into Tea Burst while still retaining the reddish color on the outer edge. The reddish color of the upper perimeter has faded, perhaps due to the aging process. And the greatest feature is the aging by Mr. Tom Murphy himself. This is a premium specification nowadays, and can be confirmed by the certificate and signature on the side of the rear Vol knob.

The neck shape is Authentic 59 Medium C-Shape with rolled binding and medium jumbo frets for an exquisite neck feel.
The original PU is the famous "Custom Bucker Alnico III" unpotted.

There is some iconic aging that is not found on the current Murphy Labs in various places, but we judge that there are only a few scratches from use as we do not feel any use on the fingerboard surface, back of the neck, low position frets, and 5th and 6th string bridge saddles. If they are present, they are not noticeable, as they are well blended in with the dynamic aged finish.

The neck is in good condition, and the truss rod can be adjusted to tighten or loosen. There are no noticeable string marks on the frets, and about 90% of the frets are left. The current string height is about 2.0mm on the 12F 6th string side and about 1.5mm on the 1st string side.

This is one of our most popular Murphy Aged models! The premium and collectible content of this model may be distracting, but the sound is of course excellent. The raw sound is very vivid, the edge is comfortable, and I honestly felt that it is a "good guitar! I felt "good guitar! I recommend this guitar!
