Description
This A-800 was manufactured in the 1980s by Yanagisawa, a Japanese brand specializing in saxophones. A medal and the “Erimona” engraving can be seen on the front of the bell. With its substantial weight, solid playing feel, and dark, rich sound, it remains highly popular today, particularly among jazz players. While this particular instrument is believed to have been manufactured in the early 1980s based on its serial number, it remains in excellent condition with minimal signs of use.Overall, there are minor scratches and signs of rust on the key parts. There are traces of repair on a dent in the Eb tone hole. The screw in the center of the Low C key guard has been replaced with a current-model part. The instrument has been fully adjusted, including a complete pad replacement.
