A 1965 Mustang with a battle-hardened look!
Features a slab-jointed fingerboard and an easy-to-play B-neck configuration.
Neck date: "8NOV65B"; pickup date: "12.21.65" (the date on the rear pickup has faded and cannot be confirmed, but it is identical to the front pickup). Both pots are from 1965. All parts except the jack and nut are original. Both the front and rear pickups are original, but there are signs that the pickup shielding wire was cut and reconnected at one point. There are currently no issues with continuity or output.The pickup selector has been greased, and there are currently no major issues with its operation. Overall, the guitar shows signs of aging and wear appropriate for its age, including paint discoloration, scuffs, dents, and weather checking. There are sticker marks on the top of the body, a handwritten signature on the back, and a chip in the wood on the 4th fret side of the fingerboard. Some of the tuning pegs are slightly warped, which may cause them to be a bit stiff, but this does not currently pose a problem.
