The Chet Atkins SST in HCS colors—a rare find in Japan—has arrived!

The Chet Atkins SST (Steel String) has arrived.
It was manufactured in 1998.
This is a later-model version featuring minor changes, such as the removal of the faux soundhole and the return to a standard headstock shape with star inlays.
The finish color is Heritage Cherry Sunburst.
Since Antique Natural is the standard on the domestic used market, this finish color may be somewhat rare.
Its greatest advantage lies in its unique core structure, which is built with a design close to a solid-body guitar—without a soundhole or chambering—allowing it to produce an acoustic-like sound while avoiding feedback and howling.

Overall Condition
This instrument is now in its 28th year since manufacture.
It is by no means like new; the exterior shows signs of wear commensurate with its age, but it is in excellent condition, with its cleanliness standing out.
There are signs of wear, such as scratches from picking, handling, and impacts, as well as polishing marks from maintenance and cracks in the finish caused by thinning over time; however, there are no signs of critical damage to the wood itself.
Additionally, there are minor marks on the neck grip caused by the capo, but these do not interfere with playing.
Although there are some minor signs of wear due to aging, the electronics are functioning properly.
