A 2006 Gibson Custom Shop Historic Collection 1960 Les Paul Standard Reissue has arrived.
The finish color is Iced Tea Burst.
The finish specification is “V.O.S. (Vintage Original Spec),” which became the standard finish detail starting in 2006.
Additionally, this particular guitar features a rare two-piece book-matched center figure maple top, with a grain pattern predominantly described as “burl top” that also includes some bird’s-eye maple.
Since the 1960 Les Paul STD Reissue tends to have a lower annual production volume compared to other models, it may be rare to find a used instrument from the first year of VOS production with a burl top on the market.
