This model features a sleek, minimalist design with a single pickup mounted on a thin-line body approximately 44.5 mm thick. It combines a laminated maple body with a mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard, and features a slightly thicker neck profile.
Although it features a full-acoustic construction without a center block, superior woodworking techniques and structural design ensure a rich resonant body while delivering both a solid core of sound and excellent sustain. The design also prioritizes practicality, such as the use of a pin-secured bridge to prevent misalignment during play or string changes.
It is equipped with the original KING SNAKE TB-1 pickup, based on the vintage P-90. By deliberately placing the high-output bridge-style pickup on the neck side, it produces a thick, resilient sound that retains clarity while adding depth to the mid-low frequencies. Turn down the volume for an acoustic, well-defined resonance, or drive the amp to enjoy a raw tone perfect for blues and rock ’n’ roll.
The vivid sense of vibration from the ultra-thin lacquer finish and the understated look of the Tobacco Sunburst finish are also major attractions. When playing old-school blues or jazz, you’ll experience that familiar, gritty tone.
While there are some minor dents on the body top, scratches on the bridge, and cracks in the Volume and Tone knobs, the guitar functions perfectly and is in pristine condition, having been cleaned and set up.
