Overall Condition
There are some light scratches on the pickguard from playing, but they are minimal and suggest the guitar has not been played extensively. (These scratches are similar to those that might occur on a brand-new guitar on display in a store due to trial playing.)
We noticed this during the inspection and setup after the guitar arrived, specifically when changing the strings: there are tool marks on the fingerboard at the 11th and 12th frets from fretwork. However, these are very minor marks—the kind you’d only notice while changing strings—and you likely won’t even notice them once you’re immersed in playing.
If you look very closely, you might find some scuffs or shallow dents, but the current condition is remarkably pristine—it’s almost as if the guitar has never been played and hasn’t undergone any serious use.
Thanks to its relatively short time in use, this is a rare example of a used instrument with no noticeable impact marks.
