Fender Custom Shop has just received a 1960 Stratocaster!
The certificate and serial information confirm that this instrument was made in 1995, but it has a neck with a 1997 date. The body date cannot be determined, but the volume pot date says it was made in 1994. Since no circuit modifications can be found and there is no discrepancy in matching with the body, it is assumed to be a combination of a 1995 body and a 1997 neck.

Alder body and slabbed rosewood fretboard are adopted for the royal 60s specs. The fingerboard radius is 9.5" R, and the frets are slightly lower due to mortise and tenon. The neck shape is a C-shape, which is thinner than recent models, and those who are not comfortable with fat necks should definitely try this shape.
Original single coil pickups are equipped. The DC resistance is 6.2kΩ, 5.8kΩ, and 5.9kΩ from the front. The inside of the cavity is coated with conductive paint, which is an original specification of the time. You can enjoy the vintage output of Fender's single coil sound!

The metal parts show some tarnish and minor rusting due to age. There are some minor scratches on the neck, and there is a 2cm line scratch around the 7th fret of the neck grip, but it does not affect the performance.
The back of the body has a 10cm diameter circular paint burn mark, and there is also paint burn damage on the end of the body due to the stand. Other body damage includes a small paint crack on the side of the neck pocket, which is typical of bolt-on models, as well as some playing scratches and dings throughout the body.

Neck condition is presently fine.
Truss rod has been checked to 60 degrees on both sides, and there is room to spare.
About 70% frets remaining.
String height on the 12th fret: 1st string: approx. 1.5mm, 6th string: approx. 2.0mm

認定書の記載とシリアル情報から1995年製と確認できますが、1997年デイトのネックを備えた本器。ボディデイトは判別出来ず、ボリュームポットのデイトでは1994年製となっております。サーキット類の改造箇所が見当たらずボディとのマッチングに違和感も無いことから、1995年製ボディに1997年製ネックを組み合わせたものになると思われます。

アルダーボディ、スラブ張りローズウッド指板の王道60sスペックを採用。指板ラディアスは9.5インチR、すり合わせによりやや低くなっておりますがナロートールサイズのフレットを装備しています。ネックシェイプは近年のモデルと比較すると薄めに仕上げられたCシェイプとなっており、ファットなネックに抵抗のある方は是非お試しいただきたいシェイプ感です。
ピックアップにはオリジナルシングルコイルピックアップを搭載。直流抵抗値はフロントから『6.2kΩ』、『5.8kΩ』、『5.9kΩ』となっております。またキャビティ内に導電塗料が塗られておりますが、こちらは当時のオリジナルスペックとなっております。ヴィンテージアウトプットのフェンダーらしいシングルコイルサウンドを堪能できる1本です！

金属パーツには経年によるくすみや細かな錆が見られます。ネック全体には細かい傷の使用感が有り、ネックグリップ7F付近には2cm程の線傷がございますが、演奏上の支障にはならない程度と感じます。
ボディバックには直径10cm程の円形の塗装焼け跡が有り、またボディエンド部にもスタンドによる塗装焼けのダメージが見られます。その他ボディのダメージとしては、ボルトオンモデルにまま見られるネックポケット脇の小さな塗装クラック、全体に演奏による弾き傷や打痕が見られます。

The items name with "USED" are used items, and comes as shown in the pictures so there may be marks of use. All items were tested by our store staff and we test each item one more time before shipping them out to make sure they are fully functional.
