The Red Label “FS5 GLOSS” features a gloss-finish body!

The FG/FS Red Label series retains the appealing mid-to-low-range tones of the original 1960s FG models. By applying A.R.E. (Acoustic Resonance Enhancement) treatment to carefully selected Sitka spruce and utilizing specially developed scalloped bracing, it delivers a powerful sound born from deep bass and rich harmonics.

This newly released model features a gloss finish across the entire body, resulting in a more luxurious appearance and a brilliant sound.

A fusion of 1960s aesthetics and master craftsmanship honed over more than 50 years
Yamaha’s original folk body shape offers excellent playability for players who prefer a compact body. Its well-defined, full-bodied sound is ideal for responsive chord strumming and fingerpicking.
Through continuous refinements utilizing proprietary scalloped bracing and the latest acoustic analysis simulation technology, this model achieves an ideal, warm tone with rich low-end response.
The top features solid Sitka spruce treated with A.R.E., producing a mature sound reminiscent of a guitar that has been played for many years.
The fingerboard, bridge, and bridge pins are made of ebony.

Not all of the items you purchase from us are in our Shibuya store in Tokyo where we do all of our international communications from.
