USED SCHECTER / USA LAC ST Koa [11]

This is a rare and very high quality piece that appears to be a custom order made in the USA.
The body and neck are made of beautiful Hawaiian Koa wood, and the fingerboard is Ebony. The natural color semi-gloss finish accentuates the wood's texture and luxurious feel. Weighing approximately 4.25 kg, this unit has a thick sound that can be felt from its chunky texture.
The hardware is all gold, but only the pickguard fixing screws are chrome-plated.
Three single type pickups are installed, which are likely to be MonsterTone ST that Schecter used to use. The rear tone pot has a coil tap function and probably also has a low-cut circuit. mid~low (tap) output and tap control were found to be broken, so they were replaced with BOURNS switch pots made by ESP. Some new wiring materials were added along with it, and an orange drop capacitor with resistor for low cut was also added. The original wiring specs are unknown, but the output is working fine with no problems.
The head is decorated with the SCHECTER badge logo, and the serial number is also engraved on a plate at the neck joint. The configuration differs from that of the production model, so it is possible that this is a made-to-order or prototype model. The selection of wood and parts, as well as the design of the controls, show the attention to detail that has made this a true connoisseur's favorite.
The metal parts have peeling plating, there are light scratches and dings on the entire body, and the pickguard has some scuffs and scratches from use, but none of these are noticeable and do not interfere with use. The neck is slightly twisted, but the frets have already been grated and are in good condition with no current playing problems.
