1973 Fender Stratocaster, Sunburst is in stock.
This is one of the most representative specs of the 70's, with the major specification changes from the late 1971 period strongly evident.
The large head, three-point joint plate, two string guides, tilt-adjust neck angle adjustment mechanism at the joint, and bullet nut attached so that the truss rod can be adjusted from the head side are all different from Fender from the 1950s to the mid-1960s. The specifications differ from those of Fenders from the 1950s to the mid-1960s in many respects.
Although most Fenders were made with ash body, this one is made with alder body. The weight is 3.22kg, which is relatively light. The neck is maple and the fingerboard is rosewood.
Pickups are gray bobbin enamel wire type made in 1973.

The sound is tight and has good power with rich middle of alder and rosewood fretboard. The sound is tight and has good power with rich mids from the alder and rose fretboard. The vintage-like deadness and the mellowness of the Stratocaster are well matched to produce a superb sound.

The volume and center tone have been replaced with recent CTS pots, and the selector has been changed to a 5-way.
The engraving on the front tone appears to be Mexico 137-7249. The first and second digits of the last four are difficult to read, so we cannot be certain of the number, but we believe it is original.

The guitar has been played a long time and has a vintage look and feel, with fine weather checks all the way to the head, red paint loss on the top, large peeling paint on the elbow, peeling paint on the back contour, and burn marks on the head.
Neck date 0901 2933.(The last digit is faint and fuzzy.)
Pickup date 263573. front tone date 1377249 (indeterminate).
No noticeable abnormality on the neck, no problems with playing condition. The high frets are a bit sticky when played hard, but the amp output is acceptable.
Fret dents can be seen, but due to the low amount remaining and the vintage nature of the guitar, they have not been worn out.
