Ash-body Precision Bass that embodies the character of the 70's CBS period

The 1974 Fender Precision Bass has the hard, clear attack and strong, tight low end of an ash body. The maple neck and vintage-style bridge saddle provide the stability and playability typical of mid-70s CBS-era Fenders, while the large black logo and natural/sunburst finish characteristic of the CBS era give it a vintage look and presence. Split-coil pickups provide both thickness and punch in the low midrange, ideal for supporting core bass lines in a wide range of genres such as rock and funk. This is one of the most attractive 70's Fenders, combining historical background and playability.
The pickups were found to have a defective output upon arrival, so they have been rewound at a specialized workshop. The volume pot, tone pot, jack, and other electrical components have also been replaced.
There are two dents around the end pins that are noticeable. There are other signs of use such as scratches, dents, dull parts, and rust, but overall the instrument is in good condition.
The neck has been set up and adjusted to match the neck, and the high fret on the first string has a slight chatter, but this does not interfere with the playing.
