Ludwig LC401 with a refined sound and stable tuning
The Ludwig LC401 is a snare drum from the Classic Series and was manufactured until the mid-1990s. The maple shell, which is thicker than that of the current model, provides a rich sound and clear response, and the 14" x 5" size can be used for a wide range of genres. It features a bright, core sound. The steel triple flange hoop and throw-off mechanism for secure and smooth switching provide excellent ease of operation and tuning stability when playing. This is one drummer's answer to those seeking a reliable sound both on stage and in the studio.
The head and snappy have not been replaced, but can be used as is. A simple cleaning (surface wipe) has been performed. There are scratches, pits, and other signs of use, but overall it is in good condition and the strainer works fine. It is in ready-to-play condition.
