Fender USA "The STRAT" Walnut made in 1982 is now in stock!
This is a rare model manufactured at the Fullerton factory in the late 1970s, and was only produced for a short period of time as a high-end model. The body and neck are made of American black walnut, and the heavy grain and deep brown color give it a distinctive presence that sets it apart from ordinary Stratocasters.
This unit retains the serial "CC11067" and pot date "R1378131 (1981 CTS)," which is a solid detail that confirms its production period. The original pickups have been replaced, and the frets and nut have been replaced.
Although there are some changes from the original, this 1982 Fullerton Walnut The STRAT is an unmistakable rarity.
Recommended for those who are looking for a collector's item, but also one that can actually be played.
There is a crack on the neck joint.
There are many paint chips and weather checks in some parts. There is damage on the lower part of the body due to paint reaction, and paint peeling can also be seen on the head. The paint is brittle in some areas, such as the head top, around the strap pins, and on the sides of the body, so please handle with care.
The neck is twisted and wavy, but the frets have been fretted and there are no problems with playability.
The original hard case is included, but the lock is damaged on both the top and bottom.
