An active 5-string bass from a brand that was available in Japan around the 90's. The body consists of a maple top, quince center, and alder back.
The body consists of a maple top, quince center, and alder back, with fine grains of grain emerging on the back despite the alder, giving the natural finish an expressive texture. The rigid maple neck and ebony fingerboard provide both low-frequency stability and tight response.
A unique system is employed where only the 4th and 5th strings are threaded through the back of the body, which allows the low frequencies, including low-B, to sound tighter and tighter.
Active 2-band EQ covers a wide range of tones from fat sound with emphasis on low end to clear and crisp tone. The design also takes into account the neck stability characteristic of multi-string basses, combining practicality and individuality.
This is one bass that takes advantage of the careful craftsmanship and original ideas that can only be achieved with a domestic product.
Separate type bushings are attached to the 4th and 5th strings, which do not cause any playing problems but are difficult to remove. Currently, tapered strings are used on the 5th string, and both the 5th and 4th strings are set up with normal threading, as threading through the back causes problems with the saddle position and string length.
The body has several paint cracks due to dents, and there are scratches and dings throughout the body, but there are no noticeable abnormalities in the neck, and it is in good playing condition.
