USED Fender Japan / PB62-70 3-Tone Sunburst [11]

The PB62-70 is a reissue model by Fender Japan based on the Precision Bass '62 model.
It combines an alder body with a maple neck and rosewood fingerboard, and is equipped with original USA-made pickups.
It has an attractive tone with contoured mid-low range and moderate edge, reproducing the classic Precision sound with a high degree of accuracy.
This model was manufactured around 1993-94, during the transition period to the PB62-75, a high-end model of the same period. This is a rare model with details unique to the period of specification change, such as the use of normally wound pegs, although the catalog describes them as reverse wound pegs.
The pegs are a little sticking.
There are scratches, dents, and rust on the metal.
The neck is slightly twisted, but the frets have been fretted and there are no problems with normal use.
One of the zipper handles of the case is broken.
