USED Status Graphite / Eclipse - 5 Strings 1996 Limited Edition [11]

This is one of the rarest of the Status Graphite models, produced in a limited edition of only 100 pieces worldwide.
The most distinctive feature is the graphite neck, which is synonymous with Status. The graphite neck is extremely resistant to warping and changes in condition due to changes in temperature and humidity, which is inevitable with wooden necks, and maintains stable playability and pitch accuracy over a long period of time. The 24-fret fretboard provides a clear tone with a fast startup and clear contours, and the 24 frets allow stress-free playing even in the high position.

The body is made of alder and the top is made of flame maple, giving the guitar a sophisticated 90's Status look and balanced tone without excessive peculiarities. The pickups are the original Status Hyperactive pickups, which can be switched between active and passive. The pickups can cover a wide range of tones from high-fidelity and high-resolution to more natural and thicker tones, making it a highly field-ready specification.

The sound is impressive with its tight, core bass and clear treble. The clarity of the low B string, which is especially important on a 5-string bass, is noteworthy, and it does not lose its contour in an ensemble. It can be played with slap, finger, or pick, and is a ready-to-play bass for a wide range of genres, including fusion, funk, pop, and modern rock.
There are a few dents on the side of the body. None of the dents are a problem and do not affect the playability or functionality of the instrument.
The overall condition is good considering the age of the instrument, and it remains relatively clean.
The neck is in good playing condition with no noticeable abnormalities.
