USED Fender Mexico / Jim Root Telecaster Flat White [11]

A Jim Root signature Telecaster designed exclusively for metal.

This signature model, bearing Jim Root’s name, is a high-gain-specialized instrument that takes a completely different approach from traditional Telecasters. Manufactured in Mexico by Fender, it is designed for modern metal and built for real-world performance.

The body is built on a mahogany foundation, delivering both rich low-end depth and tight response. The Modern “C” shape neck and 12-inch radius ebony fingerboard ensure stress-free playability, from riffing to fast-paced soloing.

The pickups are an active humbucker configuration featuring EMG 81/60 models. With a high-output, highly compressed sound, the design maintains clear definition even in high-gain settings and performs well with down-tuned strings. The controls are kept extremely simple, consisting only of a master volume and a 3-way selector switch.

The bridge is a string-through hardtail design, delivering stable tuning and direct response. The exterior features a unified Flat White satin finish, reinforcing its minimalist and stoic aesthetic.
There is a small dent near the endpin. There is clear coat peeling on the fretboard side of the 1st string at the low end.
There is a crack in the finish on the 6th string side of the neck joint, and a scratch with black discoloration on the corner of the body.
There is a small dent on the corner of the headstock, and the pickguard has scratches from playing.
The hardware shows some tarnish and minor rust, and the instrument exhibits general signs of use, including fine scratches and small dents.
There is a slight twist in the neck, but it does not currently affect playability.
