For customers residing in Japan
This 1978 Fender Mustang Antigua is full of the unique character of the late 1970s.
The unique Antigua finish is characterized by a mustard yellowish color in the center and a unique burst of gray to dark tones towards the outer edge, retaining the "peculiar beauty" typical of Fenders of this period. This color has a strong presence even now, and is very popular in the vintage market.
The body material has a weighty texture typical of 70's mustangs, and combined with the maple neck, the tone is hard and taut. Despite the short scale, it has a hip sound, with a fat mid and light attack that comes forward well. The pickups have a slightly dry taste characteristic of this era, and from crunch to clean, you can enjoy the honest character typical of 70s mustangs.

The electrical system has the pot date "137-7830" which indicates the late 70's. The capacitor is the same as that of the original. The capacitor is "Circle D" (Circle D), which is seen in those days. Pickguard, nut, and frets have been replaced as major parts.
The pickguard screws have been repaired to be as inconspicuous as possible, as there were about 5 pickguard screws that were empty.
There is a crack on the neck joint. The paint on the back of the neck shows satin-finishing by sandpaper, etc.
There are some scratches, dents, and rust on the metal overall.
The neck is in good playing condition with no noticeable abnormalities.

The slide switch on the bridge side has the following symptoms commensurate with its age.
When sliding the switch toward the lower part of the body, it is slightly stuck in the middle position, and output is temporarily interrupted at that point, but by sliding it more firmly, the output can be obtained normally.
Also, when moving the switch to the upper part of the body, the output is difficult to stabilize due to poor contact.

In both cases, in consideration of their age and out of respect for their originality, no parts were replaced and they have been maintained in their current state.
Item Rank: B: Fairly scratched & used, but no problems in normal use.
