For customers residing in Japan
Rare 1995 Gibson Custom Shop made. This is an early Historic Collection instrument that is distinctly different from current models.

This is an extremely rare 1995 Gibson Custom Shop Historic Collection 1957 Les Paul Gold Top reissue, the very first year Gibson started the Historic Collection in earnest. It is highly valued for its "Good Wood Era" materials and meticulous integration, which are unique to this era, and its value has been increasing year by year.

The combination of a carefully selected high-quality maple top and mahogany back produces a mellow and tight tone. The fat '57-style neck produces a fat, responsive tone with a strong core.

The electrical system is also noteworthy. The pickups are '57 Classic humbuckers, which were the standard specification at the time, and faithfully reproduce the warmth of the PAF. A mesh wire shielded wire is used for this PU, and the "PAF seal" can be seen on the front side, a natural specification even for this age. The capacitors have been replaced with "SPRAGUE VITAMIN Q .022 MDAE IN USA" with excellent acoustic characteristics, and have been upgraded for a vintage-like sound. As for the pots, only the rear volume has been replaced with a CTS one, but the other three are the original engraved parts from that time.

The most attractive point of this piece is its unique and one-of-a-kind character created by about 30 years of time. The natural weathering, which is not an artificial aging process, but is truly the result of a long history together with the player, gives it an overwhelming presence. The top of the body is covered with fine weather checks, and from the head to the back of the neck, there are weather checks with a firm and dignified appearance. Paint peeling from playing, fine chips on the binding, tarnished metal, and deteriorated plastic parts complete the superb appearance of this guitar, which eloquently tells the story of its history.

We can confidently recommend this guitar to players who seek the "vintage air" and "high-quality wood sound" of the first Hiscolle, which continues to soar in price, and above all, the "one and only look" of this guitar.
There is a history of neck breakage correction. There are some marks on the neck, but they have been repaired very neatly and with strength.
The condition of the neck is stable and in good condition without affecting the playing surface.
