The VMG-850, Mosrite’s iconic Ventures Model.This model embodies the unique charm of Mosrite, featuring a distinctive design with a German-curved, offset body and a slim neck that delivers smooth playability. Equipped with custom single-coil pickups known for their crisp attack and clear tone, this guitar is perfect for the Ventures sound, as well as surf rock and classic electric guitar sounds. Packed with quintessential Mosrite character, it also allows you to enjoy expressive tremolo arm playing.
It shows signs of use, including scratches, dents, discoloration, and tarnished parts.
Since its arrival, we have replaced the frets (Jescar 43080) and installed a new vibrato unit (using deadstock parts from a similar era).
The neck is in good condition, and the guitar plays well.
The included soft case features the Mosrite logo and is believed to be an original accessory from that era; however, both the exterior and interior show significant damage due to aging.
