A unique hybrid Precision bass that combines the resonance of an acoustic with the playability of an electric
The Fender Japan PBAC-950 is a Precision Bass-style model from Fender Japan designed with an acoustic concept.

Its semi-hollow body with a spruce top delivers a rich, natural resonance and a woody tone that sets it apart from standard Precision Bass models. This model’s appeal lies in its sound, which retains the playability of an electric bass while offering the natural, airy quality of an acoustic bass.

In addition to a magnetic pickup, it features a piezo pickup, allowing you to blend acoustic-like nuances with the core tone of an electric bass. It produces a sound with depth whether played fingerstyle or through an amplifier.

With limited production numbers, this is known as a model with a distinctive concept even within the Fender Japan lineup. It is a unique Precision Bass recommended for players seeking a sound that’s a cut above the standard electric bass.
