The MG series, known as the iconic model of X JAPAN guitarist hide.
This model combines the aggressive silhouette of a Mockingbird-style guitar with a Les Paul-like cherry sunburst finish and vivid flame patterns.
It is one of the most iconic-looking models in the hide lineup.

The body is crafted from basswood for excellent playability, delivering a lightweight yet well-balanced tone. Combined with the quick attack provided by the bolt-on neck construction, it is surprisingly easy to handle despite its striking appearance, resulting in a feel that’s ready for the stage.

The original humbucker is a balanced model that doesn’t overdrive excessively. It produces a clear tone with excellent separation in clean settings and a thick sound with a solid midrange core when driven. Furthermore, the direct switch allows you to instantly switch to a straight lead tone that bypasses the volume control. It’s a simple yet highly effective control for live performances.
The volume pot has been replaced due to a malfunction.
A crack is visible from near the neck joint bolt to the upper part of the neck pocket. Visually, it appears to be limited to the finish, and we have determined that it has not reached the wood.
There is peeling plating on the bridge. There is a crack at the neck joint. There are paint chips in various places on the body.
Additionally, there are some scratches, dents, and rust stains on the metal parts, indicating moderate signs of use.
There is partial reverse bowing near the neck scarf joint, resulting in a wavy profile. The frets have been leveled, and there are currently no issues with playability.
Due to the condition of the neck and the wear on the frets, we recommend refretting in the future.
