USED Ibanez / SR30TH5-NNF Natural Browned Burst Flat [11]

A limited-edition 5-string bass released to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the SR series.

Featuring a top made of beautifully figured mahogany paired with a semi-hollow mahogany body, this design creates a unique tone that combines tightness with an airy quality. While retaining the SR’s signature quick response, it offers a broader range of harmonics and more acoustic-like nuances compared to standard solid-body SR models.

The neck features an ultra-thin 5-piece construction that balances high stability with excellent playability. With a rosewood fingerboard and 24 frets, it handles technical phrases with ease.

It features a Bartolini MK1 pickup. The preamp incorporates an Ibanez custom 3-band EQ and a mid-frequency switch, enabling a wide range of sound shaping—from delicate tones that highlight the semi-hollow body’s character to practical low-end that supports the ensemble.

Based on the SR’s playability while clearly altering the “sonic direction” through the body construction, this is an ambitious model unique to the 30th anniversary.
There is paint chipping on the headstock. There are numerous dents on the body sides. Additionally, there are some minor scratches and dirt on the metal parts.
There are no noticeable issues with the neck, and it is in good playing condition.
The set screw adjustment on the first-string saddle is currently at its limit, so the string height cannot be lowered below approximately 2.0 mm. There are no issues with playability at this time, and it is in a condition suitable for normal use.
