The SA900 is the flagship model of Yamaha’s Super Axe series.
This highly practical guitar combines the rich, airy sound of a semi-hollow body with the tight response provided by its center block.

The original humbucker features a natural tone with reduced output, offering a warm sound that excels in expressiveness during clean and crunch playing. With well-defined midrange, it delivers a versatile sound suitable for any genre.

Although this particular model was made in Taiwan, it was manufactured under the high quality control standards typical of Yamaha at the time, resulting in a finish and sound that inspire confidence.
There is a chip on the back of the headstock that includes some wood.
The finish has a generally cloudy appearance. There are signs of wear, including scratches, dents, and discoloration on the parts.
Since defects were found upon arrival, the jack and rear tone control have been replaced.
The neck is in good condition and plays well.
