The Takamine PTU431K N is a compact electro-acoustic guitar featuring an all-solid wood body.

This easy-to-handle instrument combines a compact New Yorker/parlor-style body with a 630mm short scale. Its appeal lies in its comfortable playability and responsive feel, designed to minimize fatigue even during long performances. The classic look of the slotted headstock is striking, giving it a subtle yet distinctive presence on stage.

The body features Hawaiian koa wood for the top, sides, and back. In addition to the bright, dry tone characteristic of koa, it produces a well-defined sound that pairs exceptionally well with fingerstyle playing. With the quick attack and cohesive tonal range unique to a compact body, it delivers an easy-to-handle sound balance.

It is equipped with Takamine’s standard CT-4BII preamp. Featuring a 3-band EQ and tuner, it allows for stable sound shaping even when outputting to an amplifier or PA system. It serves as a reliable workhorse for both live performances and recording sessions.
There are some minor scratches, but overall it is in good condition with minimal signs of use.
While the neck is straight on the 1st string side, there is a slight backward bow on the 6th string side, resulting in some twisting. However, this does not currently affect playability.
