USED Ibanez / Destroyer II DT-450 RD Red [11]

The Japanese-made Destroyer II series, which strongly reflects the flashy looks and high-performance ethos typical of 1980s Ibanez.
A model from around 1984.
It features a striking appearance that combines the angular Destroyer shape with a flamed maple top and gold hardware. This model generously incorporates the advanced specifications that Ibanez was proud of at the time, including a set-neck construction, binding, and the "Pro Rock’r" locking tremolo unit.

It is equipped with two original V5 humbuckers.
Characterized by a sharp sound with excellent clarity in the mid-to-high frequencies, it pairs well with high-gain amplifiers. Combined with the taut tension unique to a 25.5-inch scale, this guitar is perfectly crafted to let you fully enjoy the classic 80s hard rock and LA metal sounds.

As far as we can tell, this particular guitar retains its original parts throughout, making it a piece that strongly captures the atmosphere of that era. The Pro Rock’r, Top Lok II locking nut, and gold hardware are all still intact, making it a highly collectible item.

These guitars are now quite rare, and the RD color, in particular, is rarely seen even on the used market.

There are somewhat large paint cracks resembling weather checking across the entire body.
Additionally, there are signs of aging such as scratches, dents, and tarnished metal, giving it a slightly used appearance.
The neck shows slight forward bow and a dip in the middle, along with some twisting and waviness. The frets have been leveled, and playability is good.
The case has a leather-like odor.
