Based on Gibson’s classic round-shouldered “J-45,” this 2016 “1950’s J-45 Triburst Red Spruce” features a red spruce top and a Tri Burst finish.Combined with solid mahogany sides and back, this guitar delivers a satisfying playing experience with the powerful attack, rich volume, and well-defined mid-to-low frequencies characteristic of red spruce.

It inherits the J-45’s signature playability and resonance, featuring a 24.75-inch scale length, a nut width of approximately 44mm, and scalloped X-bracing. Its 1950s-inspired look—including a gloss-finished Tri Burst finish, a large pickguard, and open-back tuners with white buttons—is also a major attraction.

Produced as a limited-edition model in 2016, this guitar is relatively rare on the market. We recommend it to anyone seeking a J-45 that combines the unique sound of a red spruce body with a striking appearance.
An L.R.BAGGS pickup has been retrofitted.
There are some minor scratches and dents, but no particularly noticeable damage.
