The SE McCarty 594 Singlecut: A single-cutaway guitar with classic proportions and a rich, full-bodied tone

This guitar is a single-cutaway version of PRS’s vintage-inspired McCarty 594 model. As an SE-grade instrument manufactured overseas, it offers excellent value for the price while faithfully adhering to the design and sound concepts of the higher-end models. Its thick body shape delivers powerful mid-to-low frequencies and rich sustain.Combined with the moderately soft string tension provided by the 24.594-inch scale, it allows for stress-free playing from chord work to lead.

In addition to the classic mahogany body with a maple top configuration, it features 58/15 LT “S” pickups. Designed for lower output, they naturally cover a range from sweet, warm clean tones to a gritty, grippy overdrive. Furthermore, the push/pull coil-tap function on each tone control allows you to draw out a light, single-coil-like sound, adding to its practical appeal.

The combination of traditional 2-volume, 2-tone, and 3-way controls with PRS’s proprietary two-piece bridge ensures both stable tuning and a rich, resonant tone. While centered on a classic look and sound, this guitar is also designed with modern playability firmly in mind.
There are some minor scratches, but it is in good condition with minimal signs of use.
The neck is in good condition, and the instrument plays well.
