TUNE SOMNUS-Zi-4 is a used model of TUNE, which has been used by many players as a Japanese high-end bass brand since the 80's. This model was designed based on the concept of making it compact and active at that time.

The SOMNUS series was designed based on the concept of compactness and activation at the time, and this SOMNUS model was a high-end model in the TB series lineup.
It is equipped with two active circuits, allowing instantaneous switching between the sound produced by the 2-band EQ and middle parametric EQ on the top of the body and the preset sound produced by the 3-band EQ trimmer in the control section on the back of the body, using a mini-switch. In addition, the three single pickups on the instrument can be sound-modified by using PU balancers. The custom-designed bridge is independent for each string, and the sound of each string does not interfere with each other on the bridge. This is really clear and seems to accentuate the "core" of each string.
Although this series was made in the 80's, this specification can be used even today.

The individual that we have received has some fading, dents, and scratches throughout the entire piece. The truss rod cover is missing, and there are some noticeable scuffs and scratches on the lower part of the body, but there is no fatal damage to the body.
The body of the instrument is not fatally damaged. After receiving the instrument, it has been maintained and cleaned at our repair center, so there are no problems with its playing condition.
This is a valuable piece that we hope you will use in this day and age!
