USED Gibson / ES-Artist MOD 1979 Fireburst [12]

It has been modified to passive specifications, but is still a very usable semi-acoustic.
We now have in stock a 1979 ES Artist, which had a built-in active circuit similar to that of the RD Artist, but this model has been removed due to a malfunction.
It has a laminated figured maple body, 3-piece figured maple neck/ Ebony fingerboard with brass nut, gold hardware and multiple bindings, and the head top has an inlay with f-hole design and a brass truss rod cover. The head top has an f-hole design inlay and a brass truss rod cover.
The "TP-6" tailpiece with fine tuners and the body top without f-holes remind us of the beloved models of blues guitar legends.
Both front and rear pickups are original engraved numbered PAF.

The active circuit is defective, so it has been removed and made passive.
All toggle switches and pots have been replaced with new ones, and the mini switch is not wired and is a dummy.
There is a paint chip on the tip of the head, and there are numerous scratches and dings scattered throughout due to age, and the gold parts are dull, chrome peeling, and greenish-blue.
The neck is in good condition, but the truss rod has little remaining in the direction of tightening.
The frets are original and are quite low due to wear, but there is no fretting or sound clogging at present.
Although there are many signs of use and modifications, each part has been maintained and cleaned at our repair center, and playability is good.
