USED Ibanez / GB10 / George Benson Signature 1984 Brown Sunburst [12]

A 1984 George Benson Signature model is now in stock!
This model was released in 1977 as the first artist signature model for Ibanez hollowbody, and has been a standard model in the lineup ever since.

The body is 14 2/1" wide with laminated maple sides and back and laminated spruce top, which is slightly smaller than the 14 3/4" width of the current model.

The 3-piece maple neck and ebony fingerboard with 22 frets are characteristic of this model, and the "GEORGE BENSON" inlay on the 21st fret is also a feature of this model.

Two GB Special pickups are mounted exclusively for this model, and although they are floating type pickups, they are characterized by their excellent response and bright tone.

A sturdy flight case is included for safe and secure storage and transportation.
Of the three screws that secure the pickguard to the body, the screw closest to the rear pickup has been replaced.
There are cracks in the resin of the neck joint and the body binding, and there are some minor scratches and dents scattered throughout, and the metal parts are dull.
Some of the topcoat on the body binding has peeled off, and there is some paint peeling on the neck joint on the 6th string side.
The guitar is in good condition considering that it was manufactured about 40 years ago.
The playability is good as each part has been maintained and cleaned at our repair center.
