USED Gibson / Pre-Historic 1959 Les Paul Reissue 1990 Heritage Cherry Sunburst [12]

A 1990 Les Paul Reissue, called Pre-Historic, is now in stock.
This vintage reissue model was manufactured and released between the late 1980s and 1993.
The gorgeous figured maple top is a departure from the regular lineup, and the serial number is stamped as it was in 1959.
The pickups on this model vary depending on the production period, but this model is equipped with two "57 Classic" pickups, which were highly regarded as the ultimate PAF replicas at the time and are still one of Gibson's most representative pickups today.
The tone is characterized by its subdued and calm tone.
The condenser has been replaced with a Cornell Dubler, and the front volume has been replaced with a '91 CTS and the rear volume with a '93 CTS.
Both tones are original as they were made in 1989.
The pegs are Gibson Deluxe engraved Cruisons, but they have been replaced with fixed nuts, and the pickguard is missing.
The color of the body top is Heritage Cherry Sunburst, which is slightly reddish, but the red part of the rim has faded considerably, giving it a vintage look.
Paint is peeling around the perimeter of the head, and the body back is heavily peeled off due to buckle scratches, revealing the underlying mahogany.
Paint is peeling on the 1st string side 8th fret neck grip and on the fingerboard side of the 6th string side 4th and 5th frets, but it does not affect the playing.
There are also some paint chips on the top of the body on the 6th string side and the side of the front volume. There are many large weather checks on the entire top surface, paint cracks on the inside of the cutaway, and scattered cracks on the binding.
Some parts have been replaced, and the overall feel of use is strong, but playability is good as each part has been maintained and cleaned at our repair center.
A genuine hard case is included, but the hardware on the end is broken.
It does not interfere with storage or transportation.
