An electric guitar with built-in active circuitry released by electronics manufacturer AKAI in 1997.
This electric guitar was produced by AKAI, which is well known in the musical instrument industry for its MPC series of samplers and EWI wind synthesizer.
The brand name comes from the year of its release, 1997.

Light ash body with maple neck/ Ebony fingerboard with 24 frets (1st and 2nd strings only).
Equipped with original NNS-SI/NNS-SII/NNS-HI pickups, 1 volume/2 tone/5-way lever switch, and active/passive switch.

GOTOH locking pegs and Wilkinson VG100G bridge provide smooth arming and stable tuning.

The control knobs are designed as an audio device, which is also interesting, as the manufacturer also produced audio equipment.
There are paint chips on the tip of the head and the bridge stud on the 6th string side.
There are some minor scratches and dents scattered throughout, and the hardware is dull.
Although the guitar is slightly used, it has been maintained and cleaned at our repair center, and is in good playability condition.
The arm is included, but it is a chrome plated one.
