USED Gibson Custom Shop / Historic Collection 1963 ES-335 Block 1998 Violin Sunburst [12]

The 1998 Historic Collection 1963 ES-335 is now in stock.
This ES-335 was built by Nashville Custom Shop to 1963 specs.
It features small block inlays, a slender slim taper neck, a slightly smaller cutaway horn compared to the 50s, and a short pickguard.

Later Historic Collection models were equipped with 2-cob Cruson pegs, faithful to the '63 specifications, but in the late 90s, the specs were not followed to that extent, and 1-cob Cruson pegs became the standard specification.

Two 57 Classic pickups are installed, which go well with the hollowbody, and produce a full vintage tone.

There are many scratches on the head top and paint chips scattered around the periphery.
There are many scratches and dents on the body as a whole, and the end of the body and the cutaway have darkening and paint discoloration due to paint reaction.
The hardware is also dull from age.
There is a paint crack at the neck joint, but it does not affect the wood.
The guitar has been maintained and cleaned at our repair center, and is in good playability condition.
The exterior of the hard case also has some peeling and other damage.
