This is the signature model of John Petrucci, guitarist for DREAM THEATER.

Featuring a beautiful maple top and okoume back, the body is paired with a carefully selected flamed maple neck and fingerboard. The roasted finish hardens the wood itself, enhancing sustain. It is characterized by a very warm, mellow sound that feels well-played right from the start, with a smooth, rounded tone.

The neck is finished with gunstock oil and wax for a smooth, feather-light feel, and features stainless steel frets that offer fast attack and excellent durability.

D'Addario Illuminator pickups are mounted in the front and rear positions, delivering both superb clean tones and a warm sound that retains its definition even at high gain. It is equipped with a custom John Petrucci tremolo system featuring a piezo pickup that enables "arm-up" playing.

It features a new backplate design that provides quick access to the boost, piezo mix, piezo treble, and piezo bass trim pots. It incorporates a custom Music Man active preamp, and the gain boost can be turned on and off by pushing the volume knob.

Packed with high-level craftsmanship and functionality to realize and reproduce Dream Theater’s songs—which are built on ensemble playing with other parts backed by highly advanced performance techniques and music theory—in the studio and on stage, this model is extremely playable and suitable for a variety of settings.
There are minor scratches throughout the body.
The frets show almost no wear, the neck is in good condition, and the truss rod is adjustable.
