This current standard model faithfully reproduces the iconic vintage design of the J-45 from the 1950s—a period often referred to as the “Golden Age” in Gibson’s history.Unlike the “J-45 Standard,” which offers modern playability, this model features a thicker neck for a robust tone and is part of the “Original Collection,” designed to capture the authentic look of the era. True to its nickname, “Workhorse,” this masterpiece revives the gritty, tough Gibson sound for today.
As for its condition, while there are some minor scratches from normal use and a dent near the 8th fret on the fingerboard, it shows very little wear and is in overall excellent condition.
