USED Ovation / Super Adamas 1587-2 Red [12]

Ovation’s flagship model, the Super Adamas, has arrived.
The Super Adamas enjoys enduring popularity, favored by Japan’s top folk singers, and this is the 1587-2—a deep-bowl, cutaway, red model that is particularly sought-after among the many available variants.

Although the serial number on the internal label is fading, making it difficult to pinpoint the exact year of manufacture, the carvings on the headstock and bridge, along with the OP24 preamp, suggest it was made around 1994.

Its one-of-a-kind sound, produced by the carbon fiber top and the round-bowl back made of LyraCode, is versatile enough to handle everything from powerful chord strums to delicate arpeggios and solo guitar, making it suitable for any genre.

Furthermore, its extremely distinctive and unique appearance—unlike anything found in other brands—makes a tremendous visual impact; it is sure to catch the eye on stage and is a truly exquisite piece that adds character even when simply displayed in your home.
There is some white staining behind the bridge on the body top, and the tuning pegs show some tarnish; however, considering its age, the guitar is in good condition.
It has been fully serviced and cleaned at our repair center, and its playability is excellent.
