USED STEINBERGER / GLB-2S Black [12]

We’ve received a shipment of U.S.-made Steinberger guitars from the 2000s, dating from the period when the brand was under Gibson’s ownership.
These models were developed after 1987, when Steinberger—a pioneer of headless guitars—became part of the Gibson family.

While retaining the carbon-graphite neck—one of Steinberger’s signature features—this model features a wooden body.

It is equipped with EMG pickups, and the tremolo system is the S-TREM—a version of the legendary TransTrem that omits the transposition function—which enables smooth tremolo arm operation and also features a tremolo lock function.

With its futuristic design and features that defy conventional wisdom about electric guitars, as well as a sound that pairs well with effects pedals, this instrument is perfectly suited for today’s musical styles.
There are numerous scratches and dents scattered throughout the body, and there is a small chip in the finish near the neck joint.
The truss rod is functional, but there is limited room left to tighten it further.
While it shows some signs of use, it has been fully serviced and cleaned at our repair center, and playability is excellent.
The bottom of the included soft case has a tear, and the front pocket has been repaired with tape, but it is still suitable for storage and transport.
