USED Fender Custom Shop / Time Machine Series 1963 Telecaster Closet Classic 2001 Candy Apple Red [12]

A 2001 Custom Shop Telecaster is now in stock.
It is finished in the "Closet Classic" finish of the Time Machine series, which started in 1999 and attempted to faithfully reproduce the original. The entire surface has been heavily weather-checked and the metal parts have been tarnished.
It faithfully reproduces the specifications of a 1963 Telecaster, featuring a spaghetti logo and a rounded rosewood fingerboard.
In recent years, Custom Shop often uses 9.5" fretboard radius and high frets to emphasize playability even for vintage replicas, but this vintage model uses 7.25" fretboard radius and low frets, which gives it a vintage feel. The pickups are 63Tele Single-Use.
The pickups are 63Tele Single-Coil, which were developed specifically for this model.

The body and neck are originally weather-checked, and there are many peeling paint chips on the sides and back of the body.
Although it has some signs of use, it has been maintained and cleaned at our repair center, and is in good playability condition.
The original hard case and certificate are missing.
