The only one in the series to feature an alder body, this instrument is characterized by a traditional, dead tone that is easy to handle and can be used in a wide range of genres.
The JEM7V features Steve Vai's trademark Monkey Grip, Lion's Claw deep tremolo cavity, and Prestige neck with 24 frets and scalloped fretboard after the 21st fret, all of which are essential to his expression. The guitar is loaded with specs that are essential for his expression.
The guitar has a cool look with the Tree of Life fingerboard inlay, white finish color and gold parts, and is carefully crafted in Japan with a selection of high quality parts.

There are some dents on the tip of the head and some paint peeling on the edge of the head surface.
In addition, there are some minor scratches, small dents, and tarnish peculiar to gold parts.
