The "Made in Japan Char Mustang" by Char, a guitarist who has had a profound influence on the history of Japanese rock and remains at the forefront of the scene today
Inspired by the iconic Olympic White Mustang that epitomizes his career, the CHAR MUSTANG is a completely new Mustang model that embodies Char’s unique vision.
The design concept for this model was “a Mustang equipped with the functionality of a Stratocaster.”
A new synchronized tremolo bridge was developed to match the Mustang’s body thickness, which is thinner than that of a Stratocaster.
While retaining the Mustang’s signature playability and maneuverability, it now allows for Stratocaster-style whammy bar use.
Additionally, at Char’s request, the back panel of the body has been intentionally omitted to create a simple, clean look.
Furthermore, a 3-position toggle switch was adopted to allow for more intuitive pickup control.

There are minor scratches and small dents throughout the body.
