A vintage "RAT Black Face LM308N" from the Black Face era, still brimming with the RAT's signature charm

It’s no exaggeration to call this the gold standard of distortion pedals; its sound can be heard on many historic albums.
This is an early model from the highly popular 1980s “Black Face” era—a U.S.-made model with a straight-sided enclosure.
Based on the pot data, it has been confirmed to be manufactured in 1986, and it features a Motorola LM308N IC.
It is characterized by a distortion with a pleasant roughness and density unique to that era.

It shows signs of use, such as peeling paint and scuffs.

Condition Grade: B: Shows significant scratches and signs of use, but is in good working condition for normal use

RATの魅力が色濃く残る、ブラックフェイス期のヴィンテージ個体 「RAT Black Face LM308N」

ディストーションペダルのスタンダードと言っても過言ではなく、多くの歴史的名盤にもそのサウンドを聴くことができるエフェクターです。
こちらはその中でも人気の高い 1980年代製 “Black Face” 期の初期タイプで、USA製・ストレート筐体のモデルとなります。
POT データから 1986年製と確認されており、IC には Motorola製 LM308N を搭載。
この年代ならではの心地よい荒さと密度を持ったディストーションが特徴です。

塗装剥がれや擦り傷などの使用感があります。
