The LA-18 was manufactured from around 1991 to around 1994.
Although it was later updated to the LA-18J, this particular instrument is a Japanese-made model featuring a brown leather label with the "MADE IN JAPAN" inscription.
It features Yamaha’s original LA shape, a solid spruce top, solid mahogany sides and back, a mahogany neck, and an ebony fingerboard.

There is peeling and lifting of the clear finish on the back corners of the headstock and the first fret of the neck.
The gold hardware shows some tarnish and fine rust spots, and there are overall scratches and small dents throughout the body.

Condition Grade: B+: Some scratches are present, but the guitar is suitable for normal use.
