Tim Henson is the guitarist for Polyphia, a band that continues to lead the guitar instrumental genre.
New colors have been added to his signature model, the “TOD10N”!!

~Features~
Chrome-colored metal parts have been adopted to complement the new Silver Metallic (matte) finish

FR-shaped hollow-body design (with fan bracing) equipped with a side port
Based on Ibanez’s original single-cut “FR” shape, this hollow-body guitar features a top with fan bracing—a common design in classical guitars—and is approximately 50 mm thick.
Although there is no soundhole on the front of the body, a sound port is located on the side of the body facing the player.
The design offers a playing feel very similar to that of an electric guitar, making it easy to experience a natural nylon-string sound.

46mm-wide nut / 400mmR fingerboard
The nut width is midway between that of a standard classical guitar and an electric guitar, and the fingerboard features a 400mm radius.
With the playing style of electric guitarists like Tim in mind, we’ve adopted specifications that set this model apart from classic guitars to ensure smooth fingering.
Furthermore, as an instrument that pioneers the new category of “nylon-string electric guitars,” it features a slightly lower string action setting (compared to a standard classical guitar) that even embraces some buzzing.

“Tree of Death” Fretboard Inlay
The name and design—which seem to complement Ibanez’s iconic fretboard inlays—are special features that symbolize the TOD model, brought to life through Tim’s own creative vision.

Fishman Sonicore Pickups & Ibanez AEQ210TF Preamplifier w/ Onboard Tuner
The pickup features the Fishman S-CORE, which faithfully amplifies the acoustic sound.
The onboard tuner is the Ibanez AEQ-210TF preamp, equipped with a 2-band equalizer. (Powered by a 9V alkaline battery)

Solid Sitka Spruce Top, Sapele Body Sides & Back
The solid Sitka spruce top produces a bright, clear sound.
Sapele wood, which features an appearance and sound similar to mahogany and is rich in warm mid-to-low frequencies, is used for the body sides and back.
