~Features~
AZ Oval C Shape
The LB1 features the AZ Oval C (Oval “C”) neck profile—one of the defining characteristics of the “AZ” series, designed for modern guitarists.
This “comfort grip” features a shape that slopes gently from the joint between the fingerboard and neck to the fingerboard edge, with the edge itself rounded. The shape is precisely and reliably reproduced through ball-milling.
The neck width is set at 42 mm at the nut and 56.4 mm at the 12th fret. The shape is specifically designed to ensure a comfortable grip in the lower fret area and to facilitate classical-style playing—where the thumb rests on the back of the neck—as you move up to the higher frets.

S-TECH WOOD Roasted Birdseye Maple Neck & Fretboard
The neck and fretboard are crafted from S-TECH-treated birdseye maple.
S-TECH-treated wood is characterized by dimensional stability, resistance to warping, water resistance, and resistance to temperature changes, and the technology is patented in Japan.

Compound Radius Fretboard (228 mm to 305 mm)
The compound radius fretboard was adopted to accommodate both tight chord forms in the low positions and lead playing on the high frets.

Seymour Duncan Lari Basilio S-S-H Pickups
This model is equipped with Seymour Duncan pickups developed exclusively for the LB1. While each pickup has its own distinct character, they were designed with a focus on creating an exquisite combination of tones.
The neck pickup features a mix of Alnico 5 and Alnico 4 magnets to deliver a distinctive vintage tone, while the middle pickup combines Alnico 5 and Alnico 2 magnets. This not only broadens the range of tonal options but also creates a unique visual appearance.
The bridge humbucker utilizes Alnico 5 magnets and features a versatile, well-balanced voicing that emphasizes attack and clarity across a wide range of tones, from clean to high-gain.
Versatility is essential to the sound Lari strives for, and these pickups deliver just that.

Gotoh T1702B Tremolo
It features the T1702B tremolo bridge, which incorporates brass saddles and an inertia block known for their warm, bright tone and excellent resonance.
The narrow-spacing design features a string-to-string pitch of 10.5 mm, designed to facilitate strumming across strings—a requirement for players who frequently use skipping and hybrid picking techniques.

dyna-MIX9 switching system with Alter Switch
With a single flip of the mini-switch, you can freely switch between humbucker and single-coil modes, enabling a wide variety of sound variations.
The LB1 produces nine different sound patterns, including a sound that simulates a 22F neck humbucker by wiring the neck and middle single-coil pickups in series.

Gotoh Magnum Lock w/H.A.P. Machine Heads
We’ve equipped the guitar with Gotoh Magnum Lock machine heads, renowned for their tuning stability.
Equipped with the H.A.P. (Height Adjustable Post) mechanism, the post height can be adjusted to ensure proper tension for each string.
